UCSF's robotic scrutinizes human error , automatically distributes medication
Robots are slowly across the world, is not it? Well, this is their latest conquest of the pharmacy. UCSF Medical Center has three robotic pill dispensers that handle and prepare medications that are dangerous to the general human implemented. The process works like this: doctor writes a prescription, a hospital clerk then sends to the pharmacy, pharmacists will slide into the computer and the robot does the dirty work. The machine will take the right dosage, packaging and folding instructions and a label with the patient info. Then fear for their jobs (or life), the people at UCSF are excited about the cause of the robot takeover: "It increases the time spent caregivers with patients more effectively while pharmacists with physicians which drugs determined to offer the most impressive thing to think. we want our robots Pals had not a single error, for the preparation of 350,000 doses of medication. Take the meat-bags!
