Lenovo release PC for the kids
Think netbook looks exactly latest Intel Classmate PCs, a sticker fell on Lenovo? Well, you could quite correctly. Lenovo and Intel have beaten the Classmate +, which in fact only a rebadged Classmate PC (or Intel Learning Series reference design). The 10.1-inch Netbook has no fresh Atom N570 processor from Intel, but it has all the other netbooks Essentials, including an atom N455 processor, Windows 7, 1GB RAM, a 1.3-megapixel camera, WiFi, and three and six-cell battery options. But like most other Classmate PC, the Classmate + is not directly to consumers - they will be sold in large quantities to schools or agencies, particularly in developing countries. Classmate + and is a good start - were set 158 000 set earlier this year in Buenos Aires. See Child, netbooks are anything but dead! Hit the break for the full press release / specs and the gallery below for some pictures of the lunch box-like laptop.
